The Community
The Island community is at the heart of what we do.
We live here too, it is so important for us to give back to the community that supports us and our families. We want to create funds for the community to use for the issues close to the hearts of the people.
Ideas include amongst others:
- Local biodiversity and ecological enhancement projects.
- Community fund to support a wide range of local needs including anything from food and energy poverty to bike racks at schools or providing transport for the elderly to enable them to attend social groups. Applications for funding can be made by the local community.
- Educational visits for school children.
- Fund for home appliances to aid energy efficiency and therefore saving money.
